1922 German Stock Certificate, 1935 GE Gov't Bond, and 1910 GE Reichbanknote
$4.85 by Mr. in burstadt, Sep 20
The stock certificate was issued by the Allba Allgemeine Lebensversicherungs-Bank AG. The company was founded in 1922. In 1925 it was renamed "Alba-Nordstern Lebensversicherungs-AG", and in 1936 renamed Nordstern Lebensversicherungs-AG. It offers life, annuity, pension, savings and accident insurance. From 1951 it was headquartered in Cologne and in 1981 renamed Nordstern Lebensversicherungs-AG, Cologne). In 1999, it merged with AXA-Colonia. This is the only old share issue with the name "Allba Allgemeine Lebensversicherungs-Bank Aktiengesellschaft". It was printed on watermark paper by A. & O. Formstecher in Berlin, and it is very difficult to find in this form today. It is interesting in terms of both German and industry history.
