Job description:
BEAT is seeking highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with deep expertise in Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), cloud migrations, power outage recovery, and virtual environment optimization. A senior-level engineer / administrator capable of resolving complex infrastructure issues, particularly in high-security environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design, support, and optimization of VDI environments in hybrid cloud and on-prem setups.
• Provide SME-level support for cloud migrations (Azure, AWS, or hybrid).
• Develop and document power outage protocols and recovery solutions.
• Administer and troubleshoot virtual environments, including network infrastructure and performance bottlenecks.
• Serve as technical lead for issues related to Trellix (formerly McAfee) security suite, optimizing configuration and resolving resource drain concerns.
