About the property- This is a flexible week agreement that you can use any week in an EVEN year. Maintenance fees and property taxes are paid in January of the even year and are currently $1235. This is a Titled and Deeded Property which means once you own it, you own it. You can bequeath this to your family/friends. What is particularly attractive about this even-year flexible week status is you are part of the "owners club" at half the price. As an owner, you can book a vacation at this resort (or any of the other Diamond International properties) anytime at a much-reduced rate. This property is owned by Diamond Resort International which has more than 200 branded and affiliated resorts in North America, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa; you can trade your week for a week in any of the other Diamond Resort properties or trade it for a week in other locations using RCI, Interval International, Trading Places International, etc (this will require a separate membership). Since this property is GOLD every week of the year, it gives you a powerful bargaining chip to trade for weeks in other locations (only Dubai has a higher rating). You can "bank" your week and use it two years later to give you two full weeks instead of one. You can also rent your week (which is a lot of work do yourself or you can hire a management firm).

Why am I selling it? I bought this in 2008 and used it a lot (taking advantage of my owners’ status to stay at other hotels/resorts. I got married to a beautiful German Frau in 2011 and she (despite her German heritage) doesn't like the all-inclusive resort deals- opting to stay in local pensions for a few nights and moving to another village or renting a Ferienwohnung for a week in locations that do not have resorts, let alone try and use our timeshare. As the ol' saying goes Happy Wife, Happy Life, so I had to give away my weeks to friends and family. I found it too much trouble to rent it out, although I talked to several owners who do it all the time and make a profit.
