Before being bought by Fender in 2004, Tacoma Guitar competed with Taylor, Martin and other high-end, US manufacturers, building all-solid-wood (not plywood) guitars costing $1000-$3000. Grover keys. This JF21, with flame maple sides and back, sitka spruce top, was the top of the Tacoma line with active electronics for the built-in mic, costing $2800 new.
This guitar is in A- shape, with some wear marks around the sound whole and some on the neck. The action is nice and tight. The sound is huge. Not a guitar for beginners.
